The element will be marked with a symbol. You can see which affinity a weapon is right in its item information. Not only will these weapons do damage of that element (and extra to enemies weak to it), but they will apply specific status effects on enemies when hit. Some weapons have elemental affinities, of which there are four total. There's pretty much something for everybody in the game's nearly infinite weapon stockpile. On top of some types of weapons packing exclusively random stats, some are ranged and some are melee - and some still are magical. Some, such as fist weapons, have no procedurally generated options and will always have the same stats while weapons such as hammers, daggers, and so on always have random stats. Starbound is packed with weapons both procedurally generated and specifically designed. This guide is going to cover the specifics of the game's weapons and how the system works, as it can be kind Players who gave the game a rest during its extended beta period and newcomers alike can and do come into the game and find themselves a little confused over all the new weapons and how they work. I've tried surface planet exploration in previous updates, but it usually doesn't reward very well, or is extremely tedious IMO.Combat is as big of a part of Starboundas it's ever been, if not more so with the game's new bosses and sub-bosses.

After I finish all the quests I usually stop because as much as I love playing, I just find myself doing pretty much nothing except some petty stockpiling of sci-fi laboratory/outpost furniture, which takes up a lot of space. Why this of all things, you'd ask? Well, I'm just trying to think of things to do after I'm done with all the quests in any given run. Flamethrower/ appears to be a very outdated page, because as far as I've seen, flamethrowers aren't procedurally generated anymore. I tried looking at the Starbounder wiki to see if I can find any lists of any one kind of weapon, but appears to be all there is, and it's not very specific.

I've already discovered the Gauntlet, the Boomerang, the Chakram, the Flamethrower, and the Remote Grenade Launcher (they don't appear to be procedurally generated whatsoever). I'm mainly after the ones that I hear you can find in Weapon Chests at a planet's core.
